I can't help but be excited for this character coming to the big screen. I LOVED him as a kid and still carry a sweet spot for him now.

He does seem a bit on the thin side for Cage, but I'm gonna reserve judgement just yet. I met him a few months back, but I did not know at that time he was up for the Luke Cage role. I will say he is a pretty funny guy who seemed not to take himself too seriously. Not sure what this particular script will call for, but he did seem to know his comics.

I'm gonna let naive optimism carry me for a little while. BRING ON POWER MAN!!!

Thyat makes more sense as the productions level didn't really seem to be there for this. I wish him luck (and it gives him time to bulk up).

I don't think he needs to bulk up. I just think fans need to hang their expectations and realize that not everybody need so to look 100% like they stepped off a page.

and now that I look at his IMDB profile, I realize this is a promo, along the lines of the one Elijah Wood created to land the Frodo role.

He's got my vote. I love his charisma, and the Old Spice commercials crack me up.

He's got a commanding voice, and good looks. I really hope this happens, and that he's involved.

I dunno; I think those points work AGAINST him. Cage is supposed to be a hothead street tough. Mustafa is WAY too refined and reserved. Although he'd make an awesome Albert Cleary....
