    10 likely Marvel movie adaptations

Out of this list, i think I would want to see Dr Strange the most, Black Panther and maybe Ant Man. Interesting that they mention the Punisher? I thought the Punisher had been handed back to Marvel already. Was War Zone not a made by Marvel?

    I would like to see:

    Dr.Strange
    Ironfist
and the Punisher done CORRECTLY! Tom Jane was a good Punisher, but the script was lacking. To slow moving and it should have been set in New York.

Luke Cage and IronFist would make a fun movie....them alone would not work....

      Black Panther is long overdue.....

Punisher would work in a Daredevil movie not on his own.....

Dr.Strange in a big budget flick with a good star may work......

Seems like the Invaders would be an option if Cap is a big hit.

I also think they could also pull off a Silver Surfer flick, unless the filming rights are still with someone else.

Wonder if the Surfer, Namor and any Torch are tied up with the FF.

                Namor is at Universal...or Paramount.

Surfer is still at Fox. Surfer is never leaving, just like the FF, DD and X-Men. Marvel made a horrendous deal eons ago that allows Fox to hold them en perpetuity as long as some kind of development is going on.

Punisher along with the other characters tied into the original Lionsgate deal have mostly reverted back in some form.

While it's sort of crazy to guess now because soo much is riding on The Avengers. Your best shots are -
                1. Dr. Strange
                2. Deathlok - 90's modern version. Not awesome 70's one.
                3. Namor
                4. Shield/War Machine
                5. Luke Cage
                6. Ant-Man

That doesn't include FF, Surfer and DD relaunches at Fox.

Werewolf By Night and Deadpool are more probable than Punisher. If anything, Punisher is going to end up as a TV series like they've been trying to do with Hulk.

In that case, Fox needs to make this movie!

That sounds awesome, but I would bet the original Human Torch is tied up due to Fox having the FF. And it'd be weird to see Evans standing next to a different Human Torch to boot.

Could just use other Golden Agers like Union Jack, Destroyer, Spitfire, Blue Diamond, etc. Would love to see the android Torch, but I bet Fox would cry foul.

I think Union Jack is already in First Avenger, or his alter ego is.

I think another 10 movie properties for just Marvel is wishful thinking at this stage. So much of the current licenses are being rebooted - Spider-man, FF, Daredevil, Ghost Rider. And with Thor, Cap, and yet another X-Men film out this year, we're close to saturation with Marvel product. Then you get the Avengers loaded down with heroes next year. I don't know. As much as I have enjoyed this ride, I wouldn't be surprised if this industry takes a hit in the next few years. I think the Spider-man reboot looks terrible. And if you get too many high profile movies that start under-performing or just breaking even, then I think studios will shy away from second tier heroes. Look at Thor. Great movie, but it's box office is pretty tame here in the states. Better overseas, but no smash hit like Pirates is. I think your front line of heroes will always be the main investment in this genre. And their all pretty much covered at this point. I think other projects from the secondary tier will be made with considerably smaller budgets and less interesting treatments. Look at DC and what they tried to do with Wonder Woman? Same thing with Marvel too I would suspect.

To me it's Runaways that has the most potential. I could see this being a Harry Potter type franchise that grows and develops with their audience.

Ghost Rider isn't a reboot, still has Nic Cage in it.
