Anybody else get a headache during the HULK movie ?

I know i'm a few years late on this, but I finally got a chance to watch the Hulk movie.
After a while I was forced to change the channel because I could not take all the weird scene changes--- where one scene interrupts another.
It literally started giving me a headache and wouldn't stop.
Does anyone find that movie really hard to watch because of that ?
I certainly hope that style of filming doesn't become a new trend.

What gave me a headache was realizing I will never get those 2 hours back.

I think he was trying to do panel jumps like a comic, it didn't work to good. That movie to me was a big underachiever. It looked real nice, but nothing ever happened. I hope the Edward Norton redo is better.

Thats for sure what a crap fest that was.I can take it or leave it.The movie was for me really horrible I was expecting something along the lines of the TV series.Wow big let down I took my kids to it and some of the scenes were just downright disturbing(The father, mother stuff in particular).
I am praying that Norton and crew give this new film some dignity.

The computer generated hulk was cool though, however LOU will always be the HULK for me period!!!
In answer to your question yes it gives me a headache everytime I see it!

I'm in the minority of people who love Ang Lee's HULK. Nothing ever happens? Au contraire, it's filled with amazing action scenes and bizarre character revelations. The split-screen style is unique in recent cinema; not since dePalma's /Carrie/, so far as I know, has the technique been used. As far as it giving headaches, I suggest that the pan-and-scan (as opposed to widescreen) TV version is the cause, cutting out as it does relevant information from the image and straining one's eyes (and brain) in the process.

But yeah, I'm also very much looking forward to the Norton version!

I just finally caught glimpses of it this weekend on Sci-FI and wasn't impressed. I felt like I was watching a video game...the CGI HUlk didn't impress me. And I agree with Mike, the scene jumps were annoying!

Make it three. I really got what Lee was trying to do. Hulk is not your typical superhero, and Lee understood that - hence the all brooding "weirdness" surrounding the movie.

I was so disapointed by the previews and commercials I never bothered but this weekend I was bored and in front of the TV. I love Sam eliot but like Ghostrider he couldn't save this thing. And Bana was awful. Proof in the pudding Effects don't make a movie good, a good movie makes the effects work. The split screen was like watching Traffic with even less artistry in the shots

as others said 2 hours you can't get back like:
                  Punisher 2005
                  Punisher 1988
                  Daredevil
                  Elektra
                  Ghostrider
                  X3
                  Capt America 1994
                  See a trend here

I hope the next versions of Hulk and Punisher are alot better but I guess Marvel can only get Spiderman right

I really liked Punisher 2005 but knew nothing of the comic. I loved the line " bring a knife to a gun fight".

                      Most superhero movies bore me.

But I must say, I actually enjoyed The Hulk for what it was. It had a strange atmosphere to it that was fairly interesting. It wasn't the best movie ever or anything, but I actually enjoyed it more than, say, something like X-Men or Superman Returns--both those movies had me falling asleep in no time.....

                        What? This movie was fine.

                        Capt America 1994
1990 and it doesn't deserve the bad press it gets - the love interest was terrible but it was a decent pic otherwise

there are a lot of bad comic movie - how about Batman and Robin
                        ?

I hope the next versions of Hulk

                          hhmmm.

                          I liked the movie.
Yes, it was different from the "real'" Hulk we all know and love...but there was some cool stuff in it.

The HULK smashing and leaping and throwing tanks!
                          Over the top action!
                          Hulk transforming!
Hulk steaming and sweating when changing back to Banner.
The ending with the geco in Guatamala.
                          It was HULK!

only complaint, Bruce and Betty should'a kissed.

                          Aw Yeah Edward Norton!
