man, all those lists are really cool. love hearing others ideas for this stuff.

Heston would have been a killer Hawkman.

I also love Olyiphant as Hal Jordan. Justified and Deadwood are two of my favorites. I never thought of him for Hal, but he's the first suggestion I've heard that i think would be significantly better than Reynolds. Reynolds might draw more interest from women, but Olyphant would be excellent, particularly if they ever did Hal as Paralax.

You know Olyphant wouldn't be bad as Batman, either. He could pull off the intensity with no problem.

Ian Somerhalder is an interesting choice for Batman. I always thought he'd be a good Nightwing, but he's got the intensity for Bruce, too. Of course Dick is Batman now lol. Fishburne would work well as Darkseid.

Holloway is really good for Ollie, too.
McConnell would be my Captain Marvel

For a 1940s-50s, Superman I always struggled over Burt Lancaster and Marlon Brando. Brando really looked like Superman in the Wild One's, and Lancaster had that broad-chested, powerful build of Shuster's Superman.

That's actually much better casting job than my Superman suggestion. Also, your Jason Bateman as Maxwell Lord was inspired.

I just see Bridges as a smart *** Ollie. But with Kirk Douglas I was thinking 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Kirk. Heston is a great pick for Hawkman.

Love the 60s JLA and Parker would be a great Superman. I've heard Clint Walker's name mentioned over and over as a potential 60s Superman, and I have to agree. He'd make a great Hawkman too.

Jason Bateman as Max Lord is dead on. Best Max Lord since his visual inspiration, Sam Neil!

Thanks Dude. Casting is a game I both love and hate to play with Superhero Movies. The hate part is I'm so afraid the studio will cast poorly...and if you don't get the right Actor, the Movie is ruined for me.
