Boy what a debate.
I'm a Hulk fan and I think he can whip both Supes and Cap with one hand tied behind his back....Just kidding.
I have a soft spot for Cap. I like Superman too, but I have to go with Cap.

And Just because Ross says it doesn't mean two bits.....Alex Ross is not the end all be all authority on Cap. He's a Fan like the rest of us......Comment

So his opinion doesn't mean two-bits? He's like the rest of us? Actually he's more like Roy Thomas, Mark Waid, Jerry Ordway, Gerry Conway, and anyone else who has written a Cap vs Superman book which is more than you or me. Because they were aloud to have their opinion mean something, they got paid for it. Have you? Who's read your book? Your opinions? Only some of us on these message boards and that doesn't mean as much as the creators above. If you think so, then you are just silly because DC isn't looking for you to do anything with either character. Once you do this, then I'll say your opinion truly means something because you will have the ability to create a story is your view. But it's not going to happen...lol.
And who said Ross is the be all end all? I never said that. We were just talking about him and his opinions. Get it right before you interject please.
And yes, this has been a great debate (which I'm enjoying). And I hope all you guys liked the write up I did. Because like I said before, it was to honor both heroes because they are the best of the best and to honor all of us because of our passions for them.

I don't ever remember soliciting my Work to DC for review and your little pot shots at me and members here are pretty childish even your Pic that you posted that was deleted made absolutely no sense whatsoever....
Like Hector said and i feel the same maybe those opinions mean something to you but i don't give a rat's *** about what Alex Ross has to say and I'm in agreement with Hector too they are hired guns to sell comics if they didn't you wouldn't hear of them.......
Bill Parker and C.C. Becks opinions were the only ones that mattered they created Cap and Knew the character better than anyone also again Parker wanted to cash in on the Superhero Craze at the time that the the creators of Superman started....not too hard to take an Idea already established and just rework it......and If it wasn't for DC Cap may have probably fallen into public domain.
