    Batman Inc. #6

is the best book I read last week. Strange thing to say about a book that's all setup, but so much cool stuff happened that the more I think about the issue the more excited I am about the upcoming ride.
    Hey! Check out the pictures.

I'm a few issues behind, but for me the huge selling point is artist Yanick Paquette. Hugely underrated talent. He was at Wizard World a few weeks back and hearing him describe his enthusiasm for creating these international Bat-characters was rather infectious.

Batman Inc. 6 was excellent and yes it was a lot of set-up for the future, but also a perfect conclusion to the first arc where Batman's global plan all comes together.

Writers have always toyed with Bruce Wayne's public persona being Batman's real mask, but the way Batman uses Wayne in this issue is a very cool step or two beyond that.

Loved how he deployed Tim and the specific mission he gave him.

The interview scene with Wayne was excellent only to be topped by Batman's internet subterfuge a few pages later.

And those crazy Leviathan kids and what they did in the back of that semi was pretty scary.

Morrison is pushing Batman out of the box O'Neil and Adams created for him in the early to mid 1970s, but it is a logical and fun extension. I have a feeling this end up being like the Azreal as Batman storyline in the 1990s and end up with Bruce back at Square 1 at some point, but I think it's gong to be a much more fun ride.

In the scene with the Outsiders, who is the big character with either the electrical or pyrotechnics emanating from body?
