Legion of Super Heroes: "Message in a Bottle"

Today's Legion episode was really great for the Superman fan. The Fortress. Kandor. Brainiac. Red Sun. Crystal technology. All that, plus some cool "easter eggs" for the initiated, like the Cyborg Superman, and even Krypto and Streaky!!!

Since I regularly read my son Silver Age Superman stories, he knew exactly where Superman ended up when he shrunk down. He was really psyched to see something he had read about appear on TV.

This show continues to get better and better, and was good to begin with. It's not JLU, but it's good to have in its place.

It hasn't come on yet up here,.. but the previews show an episode where Brainic goes Bad,.. & a story that involves his history..., Not sure if I will get to see that episode. Agreed that this is the Best DC cartoon on TV right now,.. I am also really digging the Batman, with all the JLA characters poping up here & there.

I agree this was a great episode I won't talk about the ending since our friends in the great white north haven't seen it yet. I really like the superman robot truely an homage to the silver age. Also interesting was the amlgamation of 80's braniac/braniac of JLU/style of braniac 5 in the way he was drawn and I loved that the voice was the same from SAS and JLU.

overall very nice episode. LOSH is really enjoyable.

I loved that the voice was the same from SAS and JLU.

Yep. He only speaks for like, 2 seconds, but it was Cory Burton. Great touch!
