The Sci Fi Channel's version of "Thor"

I'm a sucker for bad movies. Kevin Nash as Odin. I'll check it out just for that.

They're called "Mockbusters" and they're usually done by a company called Asylum Entertainment and the list is long. So long that I pitched an article to Topless Robot about it, they passed, which is good for me cause that saves me watching any of this trash, some titles from their library:

The Davinci Treasure
Sherlock Holmes

The Day the Earth Stopped
Battle of Los Angeles
Snakes on a Train

Sherlock Holmes airs from time to time on Showtime. Thursday night one of the channels did a Snakes on a Plane and Snakes on a Train double feature.

Really? That's a real thing....? It sound slike a copyright-free refrence you'd see in a sitcom or Archie comic.

Almighty Thor was just painful to watch. Kevin Nash as Odin was the best part of the movie for me and he was in it only in the first few minutes. I enjoyed Thor: Hammer of the Gods just a little bit better.

Yeah, pretty silly...but hey...kinda entertaining in a Plan 9 From Outer Space sort of way...


The young lad who plays Thor is actually a nice fella with a good head on his shoulders...

No, but Thor was actually the first episode of History's Clash of the Gods. Thor: Hammer of the Gods was originally Hammer of the Gods from 2009. Syfy played it again after Almighty Thor.

Yeah, Richard Greico has not been looking good for some time now.
