Hawkeye/Green Arrow translation to live action

Does anyone think that the concept of a Superhero who's only power is to shoot a bow & arrow is kind of lame

It might work for comic books, but for live action, its not easy to justify this as a weapon of choice unless your Robin Hood of course.

I think it's actually cool if done right, Archery is really hard and takes years of practice to be really good at it. The whole Robin Hood aspect of it helps. Robin is one bad *** mofo....

In the past it would never have worked becuase an arche with enough skill to make the shots woudln't have been able to act. With modern CGI it could work GA is ok on smallville

I used to watch the Dukes of Hazzard ONLY with the hopes that they would pull out their bows and shoot some dynamite arrows at something. I think they only did that once or twice in the first season. Had me hooked.
