Comic Geek Speak Super Show Reading PA this weekend

Just got back from this small con/show in Reading Pa. it runs again tomorrow at the Expo center. Mostly artists & small press stuff, but REALLY great deals on comics- one dealer was selling all variant covers comics for cover price, picked up the three issue GL montage from the current run, as well as the Movie Thor cover variants. Lots & lots of $.50 comics & $3-5 graphic novels, including the DC Showcase books & the Marvel Essentials.

And something I'd never seen before- a 'take a comic-leave a comic' table where you could trade out stuff. I picked up Scalped #1, current series Captain America #1, Sweet Tooth #1, and a bunch of current issues out of there!

Artist Lee Weeks did a magic trick for my daughter while signing my comics. Sean Murphy, is the GREATEST guy- he gave my kid a hot dog & a soda!

Plus I got Tony Moore to sign my Walking Dead comics. All in all, a splendid day out!

There are 2 cons that I want to visit. The first is Heroes Con. I hear nothing but good things about it and it always has a huge artist alley. The second is Super Show. I've been listening to CGS since episode 30 something. It would be great to finally meet the crew along with other long time listeners.
    Hey! Check out the pictures.

So, did you go to any of the meet and greets? How was everyone? Is the pimp looking strong?

I wasn't familar with the con sponsors so I did not. I know they had a few speechs & gatherings in the front of the room. This was my first encounter with CGS...I came across the con by accident while checking something else out online.

How weird, a guy I went to high school with is on the guest list, I had no idea he was into comics.
