You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
There's a lot of speculation on that, with Welling and the producers hinting that we will see him in the suit in SOME capacity. At the very least I think we'll see him do the classic Clark-opening-shirt scene in the last frame.
With all of these characters they are bringing into the show...does it mean there may be a spinoff?? It would be cool of they could do a JLA TV show.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".

That would be kind of a let down. As long as they've had to wait, I think, the fans deserve to see him in full costume kicking super villian butt.

The heat from the upcoming movie may have killed seeing him full-blown in the suit. That's just MY speculation. But the fact that they are already hyping this movie heavily before sets are even built may put the kibosh on Welling in the suit. Again, that's just my speculation. WB has been narrow-minded about cross-appearances before.

I'd love to see it, but I think with the announcement of a Justice League movie again in the works, I doubt we'll see them on TV. I think we would have heard something by now too. A Green Arrow series with lots of guest stars is also a no-brainer.
I'm hoping you're right, but I'm trying to convince myself we won't, so I won't be disappointed. I'm thinking we'll at least see him rip open his shirt to reveal the "S". One of the producers hinted at "transformation", and the TV Guide gossip guy said that was a key word.
But if he is in the full-blown suit, flying, fighting, I'll be a very happy camper.
Tom Welling, executive producer Kelly Souders and show co-creator Al Gough all talked to TV Guide about the season finale of "Smallville."
"This show, to me, has always been about Clark Kent — it hasn't been about Superman," he says, while taking a break from filming a Phantom Zone sequence for the April 29 episode. "And it was very important at the end that we make sure that we wrap up the Clark Kent story."
"That's not to say we might not get a red-, blue- and yellow-hued surprise. "I will just say to keep watching through the whole two hours," executive producer Kelly Souders says of the finale. "There is a very, very special moment that we love, and everyone who is looking for that moment won't be disappointed."
Though Smallville has been Clark's story before he becomes the Man of Steel, a superending was part of the original plan. "The last scene of the last episode was always going to be Clark putting on the suit and flying off into his destiny," says Al Gough, who created the show with Miles Millar way back in 2001. "And my guess is that, when we all see the finale, it will be some version of that."
they have said before he will be in the suit by the end of the season. Add to that that Tom welling has obviously been weight training again and you know he will don the suit. He has gotten into better and better shape all season
^I'm just going by the fact that these guys have kind of oversold and under-delivered before. We all thought Clark would start flying after saving the Daily Planet globe in the opener this season, but he didn't.
I think we will see Welling "in" the suit, but I'm just not sure it will be a full body shot of him.
