^ Yeah but they'd have to retool some of the rides, no?

from what I remember the only ride to redo a bunch is the Spider-Man one. New 3d effects etc. Just lots of repainting and removal of cutouts for most of it, tho. Disney really wants to add the stuff to MGM studios.

^ "Hollywood Studios" We still refer to it as MGM too...old habits die hard. MGM could use the boost...and some more actual rides. Last time we were there we were spinning our wheels because it's really just a bunch of shows and the layout of the park is weird and not condusive to hitting a lot in a row, as it were. I think if they had some more rides to break things up a bit the park would benefit tremendously. As it is it's the smallest park and it really doesn't take up a whole day to see it.

i know they're redoing the Star Wars ride completely, changing characters and all...and I think they're refurbishing the tower of terror...I hope they do add new stuff but I love MGM, there's a bunch of things to do and see if you really look did you get to see the props exhibit? they have the actual Darth Vader costume loaned by Lucas from his personal collection

Star Wars NEEDS an overhaul...I rode it last April and it was NOT as cool as I originaly remembered VERY VERY OUTDATED....They didn't even have a completely filled "car" when I rode it

I think they're moving that Jedi Training skit indoors too...That's what it looked like on a commercial...

There's at least one her still open in a mall I visit regularly but the marvel offerings were slim last time I checked.

I picked up a sah-weeeet beach towel with old-school 70s art of Hulk, Cap, IM and Thor for $16.50.
I was in a Disney store the other day and notice those towels as well, Anthony. Did you see the Spidey swim trunks with the great Romita artwork on them? I look at this stuff and think how much I would have flipped out to wear these when I was a kid. I think I'm going to pick up the towel as well. Nice piece!

I like how Disney is using the old school art. Perfect if you ask me.
If you're a fan of old-school toys, toons and comics then my blog is the place for you!!!
