I have been super hopeful for this movie for a long time, I wasn't thrilled with Reynolds as Jordan, but I was happy that is was at least Hal, then the first image of the suit popped up, and that hit me pretty hard as "this might not be the movie I was hoping for" but I reserved judgment until the first trailer, and even though it didn't look as good as I was hoping it would I got the excited feeling in my gut. Now with this new footage my faith is completely restored and I see this as a can't miss! I can't wait to see the movie! No body takes pot shots at Lubic!Good Journey

I really wish i could see this with the eyes of a 9- or 10-year-old. I remember how blown away I was by the first Star Wars TV commercials I saw back in the day.
I actually used my megoes to play what i imagined Star Wars would be from just seeing the commercials on TV.
I would like to be fired up for the movie, but I just don't see this connecting with the general population. I seriously hope I'm dead wrong. Green Lantern (Hal) has always been my favorite character.
I guess I shouldn't really care how others accept the film. I should just be glad Warners has but so much into it and are remaining relatively close to the source material.
I've got no problems with Reynolds. There really isn't a current film actor whom I think would be better.
From the scenes shown, so much of the movie is CGI that it almost could have easily been an animated film. I think the video-game look of the movie is going to make it hard for a lot of people to digest or invest in emotionally.
One of the biggest praises Nolan's Batman films have garnered is how grounded and realistic the films are.
Of course part of a well written script and well directed film is convincing the viewer the film is real within the confines of the story. No matter how far out a story is if characters act organically the story can come to life.
Martin Campbell is a fine director. Maybe he can achieve that. he knows how to deliver action with a good bit of grit and heart.
I'm hoping my reservations will prove unjustified.Comment

Doubts have been eliminated. I can tell there is still a little bit more cgi stuff coming, but that looks pretty dead on the comic.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment
