If Marvel / Disney has to pay Joe Simon...you'll never see the "classic" Cap outfit. IMHO that's the reason the outfit is what it is in the upcoming movie. I don't think you'll see the classic outfit in the Avengers movie or if Cap get's a second solo movie. And forget about it if Kirby's family wins their suit against Marvel/Disney...the FF will be completely unrecognizable if they do a reboot of them.

the suit looks too modern to be on a 40's action hero, wonder if they will address that as some sort of army prototype or something. I'd like to see more of when he has the old school shield. Looked like he was wearing a shirt modeled after classic Cap.

I know I've said that I've got problems with the suit but after seeing that trailer I'm moving on and getting excited about this movie! I've waited forever for a good Cap movie and thinking this might just be it!
