As much as I enjoy Fillion, I think he enjoys eating to much to get a spandex clad superhero roll.
    Hey! Check out the pictures.

Please no Robert Pattinson for Daredevil. Honestly I liked Affleck Daredevil ........but.reboot could be intriguing. Just don't cast him as Matt / Daredevil.

Patterson's association is too strong with the Twilight series. And I don't believe that is what a reboot of Daredevil needs working against it. A fresh approach means fresh faces.
I agree with this, his Twilight association will bring in the teen girl audience, and turn off the older comic fans at the same time with the Twilight hook.

This is the dilemma a lot of actors go through....Pattinson will always be seen as Edward the Twilight vampire just like Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter. It is really tough to break through and not be constantly pigeon holed as these characters.

Really, only HALF of that equation has the "right" to work...

Yeah, you should be able to pull in new younger fans w/a hot young star,
but turning OFF older fans for having a hip actor involved is just silly.

Well, I'm an older Fan...and it wouldn't bother me a bit if the gave the role to Pattinson.

I'm sure a lot of comic people are quite condescending when it comes to Twilight, so that part of it would work. I personally wouldn't know a Twilight star from a hole in the ground. It'd be like casting Justin Beber to play Captain Kirk. I can hear the fanboy explosions now.

Affleck already said he will not reprise the role.

Getting a young "IT" actor makes sense.

                    Patterson might work.

                      My thoughts exactly.
I thought the movie captured the feel of DD.
At least the DD I was familiar with. (mid 100's through mid 200's)
