Captain America goes back for reshoots...

Typically this is not a big deal. Almost all films have them. But this example is slightly worrisome since the principle photography ended last Fall and all we have gotten since then is a 30 second teaser. Eh... Sounds like a standard Joe Johnson mess. There must be some continuity issues in the story. Or the story itself isn't working. This film is suppose to be out in July. I don't know...

I agree Anthony. Tweeking a film is normal. But since the studio has been reluctant to show more than 30 seconds of footage, this does place a question mark on the direction this project is headed. Keeping fingers crossed.

Oh man, I don't like the sound of this at all. This reminds me of VANHELSING, which I was told was like "Indiana Jones with Monsters" Ungh.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

I hope so--I haven't liked a Marvel movie since Spidey 2 and DD: the Director's cut.

            I want Cap to succeed!
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

You know, all this came up with the Wolfman, and I think the bad press really sank it's chances at the box office. In the end, it wasn't a bad movie. Not great, and not as great as the sum of its parts, but a decent flick.

I'm guessing things are minor. I just hope bad word of mouth doesn't sink this movie too.

Heck. A lot of people watched that pirated halfway finished Wolverine Movie for months on end and had a pretty good idea what the movie was about.

The reshoots just could be little things added here and there for spice or making something look better .

The article doesn't say who requested for the re-shoots. The studio? The Director? The Producers? If we knew that we could guess a little better as to why.

I'd bet it's Avengers continuity issues since Whedon has been messing with all three scripts. He probably changed something in Avengers, possibly due to the move from Detroit to Cleveland, and it forced a retcon in Cap. Either that, or they're shooting Avengers material under the Cap production to lower the overall Avengers budget. That's been going on since the First Iron Man and originally Norton's Hulk.

The Wolfman issues wasn't Johnston's fault. Romanek bailed at the last minute and the studio didn't like Baker's live FX transformation.

No doubt the bad press hurt the Wolfman film, but it didn't help opening it on Valentine's Day either. That crappy Valentine's Day movie killed the Wolfman as a date movie. They should have saved it for summer or Halloween.

Hopefully, they'll get Cap right. I love the WW II setting.

Im a believer of Joe Johnston and have been defending the veteran director since the beginning .But this is not good news ,but its only March some films have been tweeked just weeks before intial release .this film is still 4 months away from its July 22nd relaese date
It might be Studio interference also .and Joe is being forced to make changes?
