I didn't read the book, either, though I'd like to pick it up. I love that period of History with all the fear and promise it held. (Makes for an excellent story-telling backdrop, in my estimation.)

Looking forward to this going on sale!

I just finished the book, it's excellent, interesting to see how they cram all that in to two hours.

Nice. Sigh. Makes me want to move to LA and try to get a job at Warner's Animation. That looks like fun.

you guys that haven't read the book, pick it up. Probably the best Silver Age era tale since forever.

I REALLY need to pick up the collections. I have the first two issues, but my then-comic shop dropped the ball and I missed the next two, so I've been waiting for the trade for awhile.

This makes me want to finish it up right now!

I love Darwyn Cooke's stuff, and I've been anxious to see this since Bruce Timm accidentally let the project slip in an interview. Powerful stuff! Let's hope they can live up to it in 75 minutes.

Wow If these are anywhere near the mini series this could be the best animated comic adaptation (I love the Hellboy "toons" but they aren't direct adaptations) since the Tick. Wonder when the R2 version is out or that we'll get the 2 disc version.

The books are some of the best stuff DC has put out in years. If the DVD is even half as good, I'll be happy!
