Books or Mini Series you pull out to re-read...

Started going through my collection last weekend, trying to weed out the 90's drek that is still in the collection, and came across a mini series that I think was one of the BEST that I've ever read:

Trevor Von Eeden is one of the most underrated artists/storytellers in the industry. I plan on re-reading it this weekend hopefully.

Which series or mini series did it for you where you had to pull it out of the box and re-read it?
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

    - "Isn't It A Pity"
    By George Harrison

      Squadron Supreme

It captivated me like few other books while in high school. I have no idea what ever became of the actual issues, but the trade is high on my must buy/read list soon.

I've re-read Kingdom Come quite often...Watchmen too. John Byrne's first two Superman/Batman Generations get pulled out every now and again. Same for Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns, Crisis On Infinite Earths, and Alan Davis' JLA: The Nail.

Yeah, that's an extremely solid choice that's often overlooked.

Most of the Hellboy series get reread, New Frontier, Long Halloween (despite Tim Sale's horrible Batman) Batman Year 100, Seven Soldiers, and All Star Superman all come to mind.

That's a good mini Berto! I usually pull out any number of things:

                  John Byrne FF back issues
                  Hellboy
Kingdom Come or Marvels by Alex Ross
                  Micronauts by Mantlo & Golden
                  The Flash #300
                  The Dark Knight Returns
                  Marvel Fanfare #1-5
                  Swamp Thing by Alan Moore
                  Nexus by Baron & Rude
Comics w/art by Paul Smith or John Romita Jr.

Recently I got missing back issues for my John Byrne NAMOR series. So I have to re-read it from the beginning to enjoy the missing issues. I love when he brought back the Original Human Torch and incorporated him into a double-issue.

Hellboy, Astro City, Powers, Kingdom Come, Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns. I wish I had trades for more of the comics that I have single issues of. I love The Atomics (Mike Allred rules) Warren Ellis's Stormwatch run. Mark Waid's Captain America. The couple of James Robinson's Starman run (which I still think is one of the greatest superhero books ever) Marvels. The short-lived Mr. Majestic by Joe Casey. Alan Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentleman, Supreme and Youngblood. I honestly believe that Supreme is All-Star Superman. Oh, and Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow? I'm sured I missed something great. I got to get back to reading comics!

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

                        Dark Knight Returns
Panic in the Sky - great Braniac story
I expect Blackest night will be reread
Death of Superman - yeah I know it was a huge publicity thing but it is still a great read
Death in the Family - another great read where an annoying Robin gets killed off....now if they would just do it with Damien
