Diane Lane to play Martha Kent in new Superman film

Based on the casting so far, and the fact Christopher Nolan is overlooking the script treatment, I am finally getting a good vibe for a Superman project. That's a first!

Remember when Ma Kent was a dowdy, nice old grandma type. Now she's Annette O'Toole and Diane Lane! Wow!

Kevin Costner is rumored to be in the running for the role of Jonathan Kent.

Costner gets a bum rap, but he CAN act, when he chooses to do so. He tends to do better work when he directs himself. Go watch Open Range. Damn fine movie and he does a great job in it.
