I liked most of Moebius' Marvel work, with the exception of the Wolverine poster. That Thing poster is a tip o' the hat to the artist De Es (google his art book, Heavy Light).

I never was a huge fan, but I appreciate his obvious talent. Iron Man looks a little more like Nerf Foam Man there though. Bob Layton has him beat there for sure.

I'm completely enamoured by Jean Giraud's Westerns more than Moebius' scifi stuff, but that kind of diversity of style and ability is rare.
It's like discovering John Severin is also Mike Mignola.Comment
