It's definitely Parker - Mary Jane's his wife in this (BLAST YOU JOE Q.!). Parker's also in the sequel (double-checked both books just now)

To run with what Hector said, if Superman went evil? One zap with Supes' heat vision and BOOM! Kentucky Fried Batman, and Superman can do that from orbit.
