Hey all. Just wanted to give a thank you to those here who turned me on to the Suicide Squad. I'm on issue 5 and really enjoying it. I think as a kid I wouldn't have liked it because there was no "Icon'" character on the team. As an adult I'm in it for the great storytelling and amazing characterizations. I love how Boomerang kinda goes missing whenever there is heavy trouble.

If you like the Squad ... You gotta Read Secret Six. It's just my Favorite Book right now ..., Only issue's 1threw30 ..., and 2 previous trades as well, that grouped them together in the 1st place.

Secret Six is definitely the current conceptual version of SS and a good read.

I believe they first appeared in the Villains United mini...

I wouldn't worry too much about the Infinite Crisis crossover stuff.

The first appearance of the Ostrander Squad was in the Legends mini...

Which was also used to spin out Wally West's Flash series and Giffen's Justice League.

Did anyone read the latest Suicide Squad mini by Ostrander? Worth checking out?

I'm definitely talkin the series from 1987. It's officially awesome.

I have issue 6 of the Legends mini series. I've had it since I was 10. I remember that I had no idea what was going on but I loved the art.

I'll check out Secret Six next!
