His new costume looks strange and it's hard to get used to.

Every time I see the costume, I hate it more. I really want to like the movie, but everything looks so stupid so far. Look at the web hole on his wrist.

I really don't understand this whole "reboot" situation, other than the fact that the previous franchise was a cash cow. The more I see of this new treatment, the more I wish they would have just continued to further the previous franchise's continuity with different actors. I would have missed Toby, but Kirsten Dunst never really did it for me anyway.

He now has mechanical web-shooters, so you will need to have a good 15 to 20 minutes of back story just to explain how he came to invent these things since he was never suppose to be much of a student to begin with in Rami's version. I'm afraid this director will take too many liberties with only a whim of explanation which will make this movie look like a script best suited for television.

Looks to me like this director is a REALLY big fan of the 70's TV series (they obviously got it right, after all) so he STRONGLY feels that, artistically, this is where this reboot will go, but with a more 'updated' look, of course.

Maybe he attended the Joel Shumacher School on 'How-to-make-a-couple-of-superhero-movies-and-really-kill-a-franchise-off'? Wanna bet he loves "BATMAN FOREVER" and "BATMAN & ROBIN"?

And who can argue with how "SUPERMAN RETURNS" has become such an adoring reboot? <SIGH>

Yeah, this hit a nerve with me.
