Cool! Boom puts out good product. I'll definitely check it out.
Did anyone read the previous series by Mr Comics? Worth checking out?
It had pretty low exposure, but it appears that the credits are comprised of Canadian artists who've previously worked on stuff like Stig's Inferno, Grendel and some of those Clive Barker Shadowline comics.

Do you mean REVOLUTION/POTA? I read it but didn't really care for it... Some of the artwork was good, but story-wise, it strayed too far off the path for me...
It pops up on eBay sometimes, so you should be able to get the complete set for a pretty good price...

cool. Boom did a good job on the farscape titles too. I dropped them after a while only because there were too many coming out. I will have to check out POTAComment

Rise of the Apes will be using CGI apes....have yet to see any shots of what they will look likeComment

Yes, there is a little news on it in this thread:
release moved up - Mego Talk
Nostalgiabuff is correct about the CGI apes... That's part of the reason it was moved back to a November release instead of June... But now the suits are happy at the way things are progressing and want to get in on the last of the Summer releases so it's now due in August...

I'm very disappointed at the previews. Very Burton-like. Yuck. Easy pass. Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness
To do list:
1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;Comment

I was planning on supporting this thing when I first heard about it, though I had reservations about it when I started seeing the various covers... Now with the preview pages that are out there, I'm ready to say forget it...
