Smallville Blue Beetle & Booster Gold?

I read today that it looks like Smallville will have appearances of Booster Gold and the Blue Beetle. I have been a fan of Smallville through the ups and downs over the last 10 seasons, and I like what has transpired in the last 2 seasons. I kinda and guess maybe others may feel like they are just cramming anything and everything into this final season. Although I guess there are rumors of season 11 ....who knows. I just wish they didn't cram all this into the final seasons and spread it better. Curious to see the Smallville look of these 2 characters.

They've cast Beetle (Jaime) and Booster and...Ted Kord!

And I think the 11th season rumors are just that. Everyone is moving on once this season wraps.

Geoff Johns posted this video at some point last year showing the test footage.

I think the producers are treating this final season of Smallville like those Made for TV Hulk movies with Thor and Daredevil... looking for backdoor pilots to spin off.

I understand that DC ponied up the cash to clear all the rights to Blue Beetle (which was why he couldn't be used in JLU prior), so they are probably looking to get some return on that investment.

Yeah that's what I am thinking. Chris I totally omitted Ted Kord for some reason. Lol. I am thinking the same thing about the season 11 rumors.

Sam I thought that test footage was rumors of a Blue Beetle show to actually possibly replace Smallville next season. Could this be a non pilot attempt to draw interest?

Just a reminder Smallville is back tomorrow from break with an all-new episode and the return of Chloe.

Beetle and Gold should be fun to watch.

Did anyone else think that break was too long?

UGH! Why, oh why? Is the CW already giving up on Smallville since it's ending? Did they get people worked up about it returning, and then pull it out at the last minute so we'd watch the Twilight rip-off show?

I hate when networks do this. Are the folks at Cartoon Network running the CW now?

Apparently they've done these type of delays before. When digging I saw that the same delay occured in Feb of 2009. The wife also got "twitted" that Zod will be returning for the final 5 episodes. :meh:
