I'm a long time reader and I actually subscribed a couple of years ago. I know the quality reall dropped of in the last year, but it was still fun to share with my kids. At times I'd have to cut out pictures of horror toys which were too scary for them (thank you Marvel Zombies), but I loved looking at the magazine with them. It was like getting a catalog once a month. It doesn't matter if they could read or not because the picture were perfect for a kid. I actually kept a stash in an old shoebox in the back seat of my car between their carseats and they usually jump in, grab an old issue, and start going through it. I'd always get peppered with questions from the backseat (Who is this guy? etc), but I really enjoyed sharing my love of toys with them like this.
I'll miss Toyfare for that reason most.
