    New Metal Men Mini-Series

Is anyone else reading this? Halfway through (Issue 4) and I still have no idea what the heck is going on! I'm not crazy about the redesigns of the Metal Men but the artwork does remind me of Walt Simonson's brief run during the 70s revival of the title. Call me "old-school" but I prefer the Silver Age somewhat-goofy nature of the M.M. instead of this convulted mess. I actually liked the Dan Jurgens mini from about 15 years ago (that long already) but that re-version of their origin has since been wiped out by Superboy-Prime's reality-altering punches....

I liked the redesigns, but the story is going nowhere fast. I did like the robot renegades.

No interest in the book. When Ross put these guys in Justice,.. & had them wrap thier bodies over the JLA,.. it was kinda neat. However for DC Direct to make figures of those JLA members, but No Toyman Or Dick Grayson Robin,.. I felt ripped off.

I'm digging it, but like many, I'm totally confused. I'll read it again once all the issues are out. Hopefully, reading all the issues in one sitting will help.

MM is like many of the things that Grant Morrison gets his hands on. Freaky *** stories, but brilliant ideas! Duncan Rouleau has really taken Morrison's ideas and run with them!
          Hey! Check out the pictures.

I'm reading it, but not sure if it's going anywhere. The redesigns don't bother me, but I would like a cool "Year One" series like the did with Green Arrow and are now doing with Metamorpho!!!
I also play with other dolls:

^^ Green Arrow I skipped, since its supposed to be taking place during his marooning, but Metamorpho is pretty cool.

I missed out on the first 2 issue of Metamorpho but the 3rd issue looked good (always been a fan of Dan Jurgens' work)
