It's set in the Sixties? I love that idea.
Initial bad comments on Superherohype mean nothing to me. I'd be more surprised if you'd told me the sky was blue.
Looks much more interesting than a lot of super hero movies to me.

Where's the trailer for this? It's coming out this June and there's no trailer yet!
David Tennant of Doctor Who said about a year or more ago he lost a role to James MacVoy because he was rusty at auditioning having been playing Doctor Who so long. I wonder if he had auditioned for this role: young Professor X.Comment

There are some more pics here;

Emma Frost is palyed by January Jones, who is Don Drapers wife Betty in Mad Men. It seems the red guy is Azazel. I must of missed his storyline.Comment

Matthew Vaughn is a good Director(I own Layer Cake), so I'm starting to get excited for this Movie. Hopefully it will erase the Stain of X-3 & Wolverine away.
Here's a great interview with Michael Fassbender(Magnito). In it, he discusses the Costumes, and says that Magnito will be in his traditional red & Purple Costume by the end if the Movie(with Helmut).

The White Queen is well cast... I can't wait to see more of Draper's wife from Mad Men in the costume.
She's increasingly becoming one of my favourite characters. There have been a ridiculous number of high caliber writers that have had their mitts on her lately... from Grant Morrison, to Joss Whedon, Warren Ellis and now Matt Fraction has a particularly enjoyable arc in Uncanny X-Men centred around her, Sebastian Shaw and Kitty Pryde.
My favourite line from Kitty to Emma... "In my Secret Origin, you were the BAD GUY!".
A wonderfully complex and conflicted character, and their relationship at the head of the new Mutant Empire makes Scott Summers much more interesting than he's been in decades.Comment
