    Gotham High

    Jeff and Celeste!: Gotham High

    The Story Synopsis:
We all go through incredible changes as teenagers: growth spurts, bad skin, a sudden insatiable need to uphold justice and avenge your murdered parents…. Well, that is if you’re Bruce Wayne.
As if being a freshman at Gotham High wasn’t tough enough, Bruce’s insomnia and technological fascinations are taking their toll. Instead of spending his time studying, he has begun to obsess over an emerging personality trait: Batman. But under the watchful eye of his guardian and steward, Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce is forced to put his intelligence to good use: graduating high school. But given his classmates, can Bruce survive Gotham High?

I am sooooooo NOT gonna like this.
I've never been into younger versions of succesfull characters: young Scooby Doo, young Tom & Jerry, ... it always fails miserably

DC/Warner asked for this series to be pitched but never did anything with it....If anything Young Justice filled the slot that this would have.....

The designs for Bruce and the Joker are similar to The Batman.

I'm not sorry this didn't make it. As a series of kids' books, maybe. But not a toon keeping other series off the air.

I'm not really opposed to experimentation, even as far off as this. BUT, when it comes at the expense of having other versions of Batman, I'm not willing to take the risk.

Is it me, or does anyone else sense a trend here? Just as everything was getting baby-fied in the 80s and 90s, now everything is teen-agers and high school.

Yup; which is why I don't like stuff of this ilk. Sure; you CAN do decent stories with an idea like this, but the fact that they took a typical highschool cartoon and slapped Batman stuff on it implies it's just gonna be the same old same old. So.... which one do you think is "Regggie," which one "Veronica," which one "Jughead?"

                            Wait....

Is that Mr X on the end of the first pic? "It's my city.... but they got it wrong.... all wrong...."

Which end? The one looks like Clayface, the other looks like Mr. Freeze.
