First Thunder

I finally got around to reading this (it was at my library of all places) and I'm sort of glad I didn't buy it. The story starts out kind of slow and predictable (I mean the best friend thing was obvious) but eventually I found the pay off at the end very well done.

The dialogue, especially the interplay between Sivana and Luthor was probably it's strongest feature, I also enjoyed the Superman/Marvel relationship. The action seemed somewhat tacked on with Eclipso or Sabbac getting little to do except chew sceneary.
