Original Green Hornet marathon Tuesday!

I haven't seen the show since I was a kid. It's refreshingly good! I forgot people actually get killed in this show. Good stuff! My favorite so far was the two-part episode where someone impersonates the Green Hornet. I forgot the District Attorney knew who he was too.

hi tom, mine's a replica. the number one was sold a while back to the petersen auto museum in los angeles and now on display.

Does it have that neat little closet recessed in the seat-back for the coat, scarf, fedora, etc.? I always thought that was so cool!!!

i agree, crappy movie is better than no movie at all! i'm just happy there are finally green hornet merchandise available again!!

the only reason seth is in it is because he wrote a script featuring a bumbling crime fighter and a sidekick but didnt know what to call it. fast forward a couple of years and the green hornet franchise was looking to do a movie and seth presented his script and they bought it.

I'm actually watching this today. It's been fun. I looked it up on Wiki and of the 5 major stars only Van Williams is left with us.

Seth Rogen was on Regis and Kelly this morning. I had no idea he was so young! No wonder the movie is such a mockery, he wrote it! Turning into a farce that appeals to the under 30 crowd like Superbad. What a jerk!

I wonder what Van Williams thinks of all this?

I love the music. Can't really concentrate on it though. I have never seen the green hornet before. He's got a beautiful face.

I forgot that it had the same campy soundeffects and narration as Batman. Enjoying a few of the episodes on my snowed in day!

I don't think I've ever seen pics of the inside of the Black Beauty.

yeah, many owners dont like showing the inside because they dont want people copying their car.

others keep the doors closed on the car because the interior may not be done yet either as it's a big project. i know about 5 people who are in different stages in their build.

thanks for the kind words! i try and take it out for a spin whenever i can. it's a huge headturner and people always want to stop the car for a picture especially now with the impending green hornet movie release, people are more aware of the black beauty because of the green headlights. sharry, i might have it displayed at the next toy show in march. here are more pics.
