I'm halfway through reading a run of the Punisher Max comics and admittedly I'm really enjoying it as violent escapist fantasy, but here's why it just don't fly in real life...

A rogue group of police officers known as “The Punishers”. Wearing black gloves and caps with white skull emblems on them. Some even with Punisher tattoos on their arms. Going on patrol dishing out their own form of vigilante justice.

That is messed up, and this quote, from the former police chief is just silly

Asked if she would consider a skull with a "7" on an officer's work locker inappropriate, Hegerty said in her deposition:

"Well, it depends on what it portrays, and if you're not familiar with what it portrays, then it may not be considered inappropriate."

Yeah, right
