Marvel really dropped the ball on this series....There should have been a second season. Best way to describe the series was Moebius meets Kirby. I loved the entire series...just wished they would have finished the 2 Parter than should have ended season 1 "The End Of Eternity". Classic storytelling in the series. Used all of the essential characters that were "attached" to the Surfer. To see some of the Drek that Marvel has done since is disgraceful. That God awful Fantastic Four series that had that crappy NEW Japanese Anime style was a complete and utter joke. Sorry, I just had to vent on series that wasn't given a chance to survive.

I totally agree with you, I picked up this dvd a few weeks ago and enjoyed it emmensly compared to most of the other marvel animated output. Definately deserved a second season. Loved the cgi Galactus every time he popped up.....great stuff.ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT
