Never even knew these were reprinted...and so close to look original...

If I knew that these were out there I would have been all over them when they came out:

    X-Men #28, 62, 63, Amazing Fantasy 13 Sub Mariner 8, - eBay (item 360205841280 end time Jan-01-11 1823 PST)

Talk about high quality reprints of comic books.

And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

I had these...they were released through JCPenney's catalog as a boxed set in 1994. Most were Silver & Bronze Age key reprints- there were twelve issues in the set. Missing from the auction is Young Men #25. They book around $12 each in mint, but I've seen the set at flea markets for $10-20. Not as rare as you might think, they're around if you look. The reprint quality is similar to what comes with the Marvel Legends figures.

Never seen these before, are they anything to do with the Marvel Legends freebies?

I have this set. I have seen them around here and there. That price seems a little high, but I could be mistaken.

I said before in another thread that Marvel should go to the paper that's in those Marvel Legends Comics. Probably be a little cheaper per book. I like the quality of the paper...not to shiny and not to dull.
