Thor trailer debuts...

Interesting but I can't quite gauge it yet. Asgard reminds me of something out of Flash Gordon. It looks like it has the potential to be either incredibly cheesy or pretty descent. The 3D promotion hurts it in my book. I would rather see more effort in story than spectacle.

Others have written this, so it's nothing new. It seems to me that Branagh went for Kirby's smooth, shiny, weird tech/magic version of Asgard as opposed to JMS' more mythic take. I like both takes.

The trailer was AWESOME! And with Branagh directing...and feel confident this will be a great Movie.

I don't know how much of this will hold up for an entire movie, but I'm very impressed with the look and atmosphere presented so far. Between this and GL, I think Cap gets shut out. Hopefully all three do great, but the likelihood is small.

Wow, there are some new bits that were not in the leaked trailer. Thor throwing his Hammer and it returning to him and of course the awesome moment when he uses the power of Thunder. Destroyer looks awesome, Thor may need Iron Mans help on that one.
One question still remains unanswered (no, not his helmet lol) Will Thor fly or not?

This looks like it could be interesting. The only Thor I know is from the 60s Marvel men series. I haven't read the comics. I do think the whole 3D thing is overused though.

I myself don't like 3D (with the exception of Avatar)...wearing those plastic glasses at the theater bothers me to no end...I fog too much...lol.

I'll go check it out in 2D...you do have that option you know.
