Great cover! Ross is a known Mego collector.

I'm also surprised to see it around though, I bought the first six or so issues and just could not continue.

Cool! Ross not only collects Megos, he uses them as models (among other toys and models). For the Marvels cover with Angel and the little Mutant girl, he used a 12" Reeve Superman and a Walton girl!

Yeah, pretty covers aside it was crap...

Ross painted Megos earlier this year on the cover to Black Terror #11 I think it was....

The entire series is very hard to follow and is soooooo slow... It was the same with his involvement in the Avengers/Invaders series...

OK so it wasn't just me. I can't for the life of me remember what it was but there was some horribly cliched trope in an issue that just infuriated me to the point of calling my LCS and cancelling the title.

I never actually ordered it in the first place, the store owner just knew I liked Alex Ross.

Probably has something to do with the writers Ross is hooking up with on these projects....Guys like Busiek (Marvels) and Waid (Kingdom Come) or Dini (the World's Greatest Super-Heroes tabloids) brought out the best of Ross' ideas and plots. His meanderings started when he and Krueger was it (?) did the Earth-X series (dragged out over 3 separate 12 issue series if memory serves) and their Justice at DC had problems too. His work with Marvel and/or Dynamite has been even worse (the aforementioned Avengers/Invaders and Superpowers)
