This is when you regret not having cash flow during holidays...

I saw these 2 auctions late last night...I love the Thunder Agents and would kill for an original page...these character studies by Al Williamson would have been the next best thing. Pencils aren't what I prefer, Pencils and inks are better for displaying purposes...but damn these went cheap:

Al Williamson - Original Art 1971 - Dynamo pencil art 2 - eBay (item 330503010745 end time Dec-03-10 21:00:37 PST)

Al Williamson - Original Art 1971 - Dynamo pencil art 1 - eBay (item 330503010003 end time Dec-03-10 20:56:08 PST)

I know they aren't by Wood, Ditko, or Kane...but they are still done by one of the true masters of his time in Al Williamson.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Starting to hate the holidays more and more
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

    - "Isn't It A Pity"
    By George Harrison

I love this kind of stuff. being an Illustrator, I love to see the working mind of artist that I admire. seeing how they get from point A to B is always a treat.

Damn, that's really cheap for some Williamson original art. I would have jumped on one of those for that price, he was one of the best IMO.
