Wow, this was quite good! I thought it would be good, but it was surprisingly intelligent and didn't try too hard to be overly "hip" like a lot of Cartoon Network shows.
I hear Aqualad is going to be the leader here. As a Robin fan, that put me out a bit when I heard it, but now I see why. One, Aqualad is the new character they can fully develop, and two, Robin was the leader on Teen Titans, so to differentiate the shows it make sense to not go in that direction.
Since Robin has been explored thoroughly on Teen Titans, The Batman, and of course BTAS/TNBA, it was nice to see a new approach. The tech-savvy of Tim Drake meets the "laughing young daredevil" interpretation of Dick Grayson is a solid way to go.
I have a feeling Speedy will be back as Arsenal, don't you?
I thought Superman's reaction to Superboy was handled well, and very interesting. If you had to stare your clone in the face, how would you react? They didn't take the easy way out by having Supes say "welcome to the team brother!"
All in all, this looks to be a great, well-thought-out series.
