I saw tomar re, Killowog, and Hector Hammond in the clip (and hector was a frequest early villian). The suit looks good and the few ring shots were nice. It seems to have been hevily influenced by Th GL new frontier origin version from Darwyn Cooke and maybe a bit by Last Will and Testament of hal Jordon. I am actually much more excited to see this now

It's going to be bigger than Thor and Captain America...COMBINED...

OH YEAH! EVERYONE is going to know who Green Lantern is next summer! This movie and all of the merchandising tie-ins will enter GL into DC's Top Four* in the public's mind I think...Much the same way the Iron Man flicks bumped up his profile for Marvel.

* I gotta say though....I feel sorry for Aquaman fans....

I got goose bumps last night watching it on ET. The trailer is awesome!!. I can't wait to see this!

Wow - I have to say, that looked way better and a lot more fun than I expected. I will check it out for sure!

It will be interesting to see if a second string DC superhero will received the way Iron Man was by the mainstream public.

It will also be interesting to see if confusion with "Green Hornet" is going to be a factor. "Hornet" is coming out in January - well ahead of "Lantern" but still - if "Hornet" stinks as much as it looks like it might I can see people mixing up the two.

From what I've seen "Hornet" will come and go with little notice, so I doubt it will impact the GL movie much.

Burying the Hornet movie in January is not a sign of good faith for any movie.

Green Lantern will be marketed MUCH more heavily than Green Hornet so there shouldn't be any confusion between the two....Clothing, action figures, fast food tie-ins, cereals, etc....All with the Time Warner behind the push

NICE! I have no doubts this film will be huge. I think the treatment is spot on. If you get too heavy on a concept like this, it comes off looking campy. I think the director hit the perfect blend. I think this film will be incredible. The effects rock!

I read they are tapping all markets so we will get the Movie Master line for sure, but there will also be the smaller scale line with gimmicks and will be mostly for kids (and me ) I also red that the DC Infinite Heroes line will pretty much revolve around GLs at the time of the movie. I am hoping for Hot Toys as well! And I can't wait for who ever has the happy meal toys, and everything else. it is a darn good time to be a GL Fan!

Also I love the trailer I watched it a ton of times already! I think someone mentioned the star Sapphire logo on Carol's helmet, which was awesome! I am super hyped for this movie! I can not wait!

That is so much more impressive than the ET shots. I know there is still eight or so months to refine this and add/edit, but this looks pretty darn cool. I'm not 100 percent sold on the mask, but that's not going to detract from possibly an otherwise awesome movie. Highest hopes possible here.
