I like Chip Kidd - but I've never been to compelled to get any of the books in this series. I like thumbing through them at the book store though.

The book is has some cool photos of premiums and Captain Marvel memorabilia from the 1940s, Simon/Kirby Captain Marvel reprint and some notes and letters from Fawcett Comics that are neat to see, but I would look through the book at a store before purchase.
Not a lot of text. Although it's a great package and beautifully photographed.Comment

Chip is a cool guy and good writer. I will grab this on release day if my Borders gets it.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
