Diana Prince had a long association with the military. Do you think this is an important part of the most iconic Wonder Woman? From the Golden Age and the earlier seasons of the TV show?
What would her reasoning be for that military job? Given that she is a foreign ambassador in the most contemporary incarnation, it would seem a little odd.
She's also spent time as a secret agent and they tried that again in the most recent reboot. It sounded good in theory, but I don't think they ever quite got the balance right, nor the proper motivation or reasoning for her to be working that role. After all, it kind of runs counter to her already convoluted message of Peace and Love through Amazonian Strength and show of arms.
Does Wonder Woman need a secret identity at all? If so, what should she be doing as her alter ego Diana Prince?
I'm was actually quite impressed by Greg Rucka's creation of WW's embassy and role in international politics, and was really bummed to see all that bulldozed over in the wake of the Amazons Attack/Countdown misfire.
