    Monster Society #3?

Does anyone know when Shazam and the Monster Society of Evil #3 hit the shelves or if it has, yet?

If it's out has anyone read it, yet?

It has and to be honest, this issue reaked of padding. The biggest development was the introduction of Doctor Sivana.

I'm a huge proponent of the series but the absence of Mary and the lack of development bugged me in this issue.

      Thanks for the info.

I knew there was going to be two months between #2 and #3 and since I hadn't seen any buzz on the board, I was assuming either 1) it wasn't out yet or 2) it was not very good. Sounds like the latter.

I had to look back at the cover and make sure I didn't pick up Justice by mistake, NOTHING happened.

I didn't even read it....put it away and will read all 4 when it's complete. To me it's not livin' up to the hype.

Someday, somewhere, someone will do the Big Red Cheese justice!

I really like Ordway's original Power of Shazam graphic novel. The series wasn't bad either.

I'm going to wait and TPB the Monster Society. It couldn't be any worse than how Trials of Shazam sounds. Ye gods.

Don't get me wrong, I love this book but this issue though seemed to suggest the tale could have been told in three parts. Smith is capturing some of the Fawcett whimsy, I like that.
