It might be a good "back from the dead" kinda costume that he'd wear for a very short time span...otherwise its not very Superman.

I'm actually a fan of Burton's work, but I gotta admit I think this is terrible

Burton is a genius that made BATMAN work for a new generation... I'll check
out this SUPES stuff & we'll see what my thoughts are about that.. but
regardless Burrton is THE man.

I kind of like it, its obviously not classic, but it has more of a God like feel, a cosmic Superman. In some ways the new Green Lantern movie suit takes a little of this idea of energy moving through the suit.

well now we know why WB put this project in the trash. Burton was never a good choice for a Superman movie,. his vision is always dark and brooding. Superman is suposed to be a symbol of light and hope.
the casting they had done for the movie was terrible too. Cage as Supes?? Chris Rock as jimmy Olsen??? Come on.

Also, keep in mind that we don't know for what and how long this suit would've been used in the movie.

From an artistic standpoint, I think those suits are wildly creative and interesting to look at. However, I would not want them in a Superman movie as canon. And I hate that emblem.
