Brightest Day # 11 The Action is Here !

This Book Dragged for 10 issues.
But IMO , If the Story line Keeps Up ..., This Books Finally Started Right Here !

Half the Book is FireStorm vs DeathStorm

And the Other Half is Aquaman vs Black Manta

This Books Was Awesome to me...., and got rid of all the other Crap I didn't care about. Good Stuff.

It should be just about the Firestorm and Aquaman stories....all of that other stuff was crap...especially the Deadman/Hawk and Dove angle...."Eat a cheeseburger"? Please, that was horrible writing.....

Never reading much of Deadman before Blackest Night ..., I like the Deadman Stuff, for the Most Minus the Cheeseburger part as well.

They can keep Everything Else though.

Hawk and Dove are Great in the 1st 4 issues of Birds of Prey ..., Then I guess they decided to take a break with Benes Who already aparently can't keep up with issue 5.

Hawk's Such a " Jack Burton" Pompus Arse , That I can't help but laugh out loud at some of His Lines .

I care Less about ManHunter, Proffessor Zoom , Captain Boomerang , The Hawks, Jade And that Shazam! ******. ... The Max Lord stuff has my interest as well.

I guess I am Batting 50% for the most part ..., maybe 40%.
But Brightest Day 11 was the Best Damn Book of the Series Thus Far.

Never reading much of Deadman before Blackest Night ..., I like the Deadman Stuff, for the Most Minus the Cheeseburger part as well.

Try some Neal Adams Deadman or the Garcia Lopez stuff (from Adventure Comics back in the late 70s) or any of his old-school Brave and the Bold appearances with Batman. Deadman works best when he's written with sarcasm and bravado and the one appearing in "Brightest Day" has none of that....Just a whiner IMO.....

Yeah I've dumped that book already...I think 4 was the last issue

The Max Lord stuff has my interest as well.

I dropped the Justice League bi-weekly too...I wasn't crazy about Winnick's scripts and decided to just stick with Brightest Day as far as a bi-weekly title....

I like Lost Generations quite a bit, ... Not so Much the Captain Atom Revelation or whatever issue.

The Birds of Prey was really good to me ..., Then Issue 5 came.

This book just got real interesting with issue 10 .
Batman ( Not clear here if this Is Bruce, or Dick, it wasn't written or said, and He looks alot more like Bruce than Dick imo ) and Powergirl, get together in a Couple of Pannels , where they start to Remeber a bit of who Max is ..., and think something is strange, but then get zapped back into the trance. Then at the End of the Book, The Metal Men show up.

I think the whole Damn Book is pretty good, on a lot of different levels. It did start off alittle slower, But I just read the last 4 issues last night, and am pretty Jazzed for Issue 11.
