Variants aside though, this has been a fantastic run. Anyone who dismissed the character after the events of Civil War definitely missed out on the fantastic job Matt Fraction has done with the character and his struggle through the difficult times.

Stark Disassembled really showed what a real hero Tony can be via what is best described as a reversal of Flowers for Algernon while taking us through all the past incarnations of the armour.

Great time to be an Iron Man fan.
