I keep reading the word "Reboot" regarding the project. Is it possible to "reboot" without having to retell the origin? (I just don't think we need to go through the origin retelling for Superman.)

Why is Ben Affleck's name mentioned?

Great... Does this mean we'll see Big Blue's wang hanging out?

Affleck is gaining status as a director these days. Snyder will likely deliver something the fans will enjoy as he is not afraid of action, I just wonder if he'll nail the character.

I'm happy Zack Snyder is going to direct. And even happier that Chris Nolan is the Producer(Godfather), and David Goyer & Johnathan Nolan are writing the script.

If he doesn't nail the character I'm sure he'll have the character nail someone.

                    I hope it's not a comedy like 300 was.

The guy's got a lot of energy, and definitely knows how to translate source material to screen without a lot of tampering. I hope Zod is just a rumor. As much as I love Chris Reeve's Superman movies, they need to forge ahead. Maybe keep John Williams theme, but pull from ALL versions of Superman, and make them their own. Like Nolan did with his Batman.

Let's face it, we all want BRAINIAC!!!

Let me write it, and we'll have on *he!!* of a movie! My script's ready -- Mr. Snyder? Mr. Nolan? If you're out there . . .

The latest word from Zack Snyder is the Villain will be....ZOD!! This makes me very happy, because we need to someone of Supes power level, who can go Toe to Toe with him...for some really great "knock down, drag out" fight scenes.

I wish they would get away from "honoring" the 70s Superman films. I think that was Singer's big failing, putting so much effort into tying to the old movies. Make a new Superman---enough with the stupid crystals---and if it is Zod make him new and exciting, not a goateed guy in black patent leather.

I liked the Actor, and the way Zod was portrayed on Season 9 of Smallville.
