Archie in Pureheart The Powerful

I just picked this up at the comic book store this morning. It's a reprint of 13 stories of Archie as superhero Captain Pureheart and Jughead as Captain Hero. Apparently this were first printed starting in October of 1965. I had never seen these. My older brother who was an Archie fan back in the day never heard of these either.

Has anyone heard of these?

Sure, used to read them all the time in the Archie digests reprints. There were other characters too but the names escape me at the moment. I know Betty was one and I think Reggie, too.

Oh yeah, I remember those characters. I read a lot of Archie when I was a kid, so I came across those superhero ones sometimes. I had almost forgotten about them.
