Anyone Reading Comics On an iPad??

I'm thinking about buying an iPad, but the deciding factor for me would be how well I could read comics on one. I don't need it to do anything fancy, but I would like to know the experience and ease of use is at least close to reading them on my PC. If I can match that and add the portability of an iPad I would be happy.

I'm not having any luck on my Linux box, by the way. Any advice there would be appreciated. as well.

I've been thinking about the same thing...I have 250Gb of Comics stored..it crashed...But after I fix that I was wondering if an Ipad would play PC files from a hard drive. It would be cool to turn the pages literally.

The experience is fine on my iphone, but if you want to read the latest material, I think you would probably be disappointed in what's available. If you are only buying it to read comics on or if that's the main reason, you might be better off waiting until the companies begin releasing more material.

If DC and Marvel were releasing their latest issues weekly in a digital format, I would buy one tomorrow.

I read my comics on the iPad now. I would highly recommend it, the screen size is near perfect and you just can't beat the portability. Going on trips with a massive pile of comics in my bag is a thing of the past.

I never thought I'd ever hear myself say something like that but now I can't imagine going back.
