Saw it. It's about freakin' time that Clark started wearing red as the blur. Great shot at the end with the flag behind him looking cape-like...
Now how many episodes before the whole suit is worn?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I must be really out of comics...when did Deadshot become a western gunslinger type?? Obviously it's not the same Deadshot that was in Detective/Batman Comics."When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".

Deadshot in the comics is still the same Deadshot you remember....They must have used artistic license on "Smallville".....Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I think they picked up a bit of Deadshot's look from the Batman: Gotham Knight DTV movie and then went their own way with it.
Good episode, but man, Cat Grant is ANNOYING. I guess that was the point, but I hope she doesn't stick around too long.
Other than that, there are some nice subplots being laid out, and they are all DCU-centered! They really are going balls-to-the-wall this season.
Like the new red-blue-blur look. It's a step in the right direction. No more Neo-Clark!

Sounds like they're pulling out all the stops for this final season...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I'm a little confused about the character of Cat Grant. Is there any kind of connection between her and Wildcat Ted Grant? Her ex-husband's name is Joe Morgan and that is the name of the guy who trained Ted Grant, Al Pratt (Atom), and Jim Harper (Guardian)...or at least that's what I remember from reading All-Star Squadron.Comment

^ Hmmmmm....interesting connection. I wonder if it's just one of those "nod and a wink" kind of things....I don't think they've ever played up anything between Cat and Ted Grant as being related or anything.
Last I ever heard of Joe Morgan (the boxer/fighter/trainer) was in All-Star Squadron Annual #1Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Really? That would be a first for Smallville.
Enjoyed the episode but I'm probably in the minority in that I'm not too keen on the upcoming Darkseid/Legends subplot.
Man, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for Clark to fly off the rooftop in that final scene!
That new suit was kind of neat too. Very Smallville-ish.
