I know what you mean. It's an interesting idea, I'll see how they pull it off. I'm not crazy about Dexter's wife as the Mom, she irritates me.
I never miss Glee, but man, that show is seriously odd, isn't it? None of the plot twists or character motivations ever make any sense. The music is awesome and the performances are great, but it started with the fake baby and never stopped being hard to believe.
I'm officially done with Glee. After they won sectionals mid-season it kind of devolved into the kind of "who hasn't slept with who" trap that usually takes a few seasons of other shows to get into. Might be more indicative of their target audience's lack of attention span, but at least they are not walking on my lawn while they are watching it. I'd turn the hose on 'em anyway.
I also wore an onion on my belt, because that was the style at the time. But I Digress. I'm going to watch No Ordinary Family. Hopefully Dexter's Wife shows a bit more of that edginess she had when she was the schoolgirl vampire Darla in Buffy. I do like The Shield guy/Thing.
Great minds think alike, Scott. I posted on this in the General Buzz!
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I'll give it a shot. Also, I've met Julie Benz a couple of times at cons and she's very likable in person.
